Question on ISO hole pattern 3

CZ means common zone, which only makes sense for in-line (coaxial) holes.

Thanks for your comment, but I know CZ modifier need to be used when not all non-redundant DOF are fully locked. pls see the figure below.

ISO 5458:2018, para. 5.4.4, says this:
"In the case of a multiple pattern specification defined with the SIM modifier:
— the individual geometrical specification shall not include the CZR modifier;
— the individual geometrical specification can include the CZ modifier, but this is superfluous and may be omitted."

A few years ago ISO GPS changed the meaning of CZ from Common Zone to Combined Zone. I think the latter name better reflects the intent of the modifier, which is grouping of multiple tolerance zones regardless if they are in-line or not.
