I'm no EE, just a materials guy. I've got a noob question about connectors. I'm building a pulse modulation system using an IGBT that is in a TO-247 package. The IGBT is on a small fan-blown heat sink mounted to the small box that contains the driver. I need a socket/connector that will plug onto the IGBT leads. I've searched extensively without success, finding sockets for just about every discrete device package except the TO-247. Can anyone recommend a mating connector/socket for this package? Thank you!

Anything that requires an IBGT, probably requires soldered connections.

lead size (standard .026" x .051")?

IRstuff is correct in that this part is supposed to be soldered to circuit board thru holes.

You could always wrap/solder wires directly to the leads then apply shrink tube for one off.

Thanks, IRstuff & mcgyvr. It's a one-off, so I'll solder short leads direct to the device. Much obliged.
