Question about Pin in Paste

Hi,
Can anyone shed some light regarding Pin in Paste technology?
Question: what's the acceptance level in% for the so called "barrel filled" (meaning the the volume of solder filling up the PTH)

Personally, I believe that it is impossible to get enough solder paste on a via pad to ever totally fill the hole. I believe that most of us now tent the vias with the solder mask.
