In a FCC revamp, we are getting a higher bottoms temperature in order to meet LCO spec. and product. To control the bottoms temperature, we are proposing the use of a slipstream of the HCO pumparound flowing in a bottoms quench ring in order to prevent coking. Can anyone indicate experiences with this quenching ring?. Where can I find details about this device?
