Can Johnson-cook model be used in the quasi static tensile simulation of materials in Abaqus?

Johnson-Cook model is meant for high-strain rate deformations occuring during truly dynamic events. In case of quasi-static problems it’s better to use ductile damage model.

Thanks for your reply[smile]. In the damage part, the Ductile damage was set. I wonder that whether the Johnson-cook hardening can be set in the Plastic part for the quasi tensile analysis. Because my experimental curve was more consistent with Johnson-cook hardening model.
