Hello,

i am trying to model a crack (middle edge) in Patran. I used a mesh of tria6 elements. At the crack tip I used the typical Rosette made of 8 tria6 elements. But I didn`t figure out how to make Quarter Point Elements out of those 8.

For calculation I`d like to use the displacement extrapolation method. I suppose I just need 4 points at the crack tip for this calculation.

Can you help me?
