Hello,

I shall soon be beginning my job as entry-level Quality Engineer in an automotive engineering company supplying components to OEMs. My background is M.S in Industrial Engineering. I was wondering if someone could recommend good books/websites/cds/resources related to Quality, QS 9000 to TS 16949 conversion and blueprints reading.

Thanks!

Not to be obvious but:
The ASQ Quality Engineer's Handbook is quite good, as are a few of the study guides available for the Certified Quality Engineer examination.

For automotive "tailored" information, try the Automotive Industry Action group. You should be able to find much of interest there.

Regards,
