We are reviewing the use of a tire conversion process to determine its applicability to plastic waste processing. The tire process pyrolyses rubber to carbon black and oil. We are wondering if there is any public domain information on a similar process with waste plastic as the feed. Energy recovery could also be part of the process. Any links would be appreciated.

I am the engineering & maintenance manager for such a process. We use an IDEX process in which we reclaim aluminum from poly laminated aluminum foil. The website for information on an IDEX is & the Contact would be James Herbert. If you have any further questions ask.
