PWHT CODE REQUIREMENTS

dear members

To release internal stress we will perform PWHT. In how many cases ASME CODE is recommending PWHT like Thickness, P.NO . I would like to know what are the code recommended cases for PWHT.

Please review the ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code - Section VIII, Div 1 for pressure vessels and Section I for boilers. All of the recommendations for PWHT by P-No and nominal thickness are provided.
