Hi,

We are having problems with PVC fittings installed in a water supply system. Some people said that the problem is the VFD installed, instead the cycling of the VFD system.

Anybody read or know about it? Can be true?

Regards,

KMora

KM,

Can you be more specific - what kind of problems are you having? Fittings are leaking? VFD and/or pump is not maintaining stable flow or pressure?

Hi,

Fittings breaks. The pressure is constant, the pump system has normal operation. It is a 7 story building.

Regards,

KMora

7 stories at 15 ft or so per story? About 50 psi or so of gravity head at ground level where the pump is? Plus about 30 psi from the pump for water pressure at the top floor?

Does the VFD kick on only when a tap is opened (water pressure drops)?

Are there anti-water-hammer devices installed on all the lines?

What is the operating temperature?

What is the specification for the fittings?
