I recently installed a control panel comprising a Panelview Plus 1250 Linked via Ethernet to local Contrologix Plc. Call this(Site1)
I now have to install another control panel of same spec down site from previous. Call this(Site2) , but still need to read (site1) data from (site 2) Panelview.
The two Contrologix Plc's are linked via DH+.
(Site1)--DH+--(Site2)
My question is can (site2)Panelview read the data from (Site1)adding a new Shortcut called site1 say.
Could this be done via a routing table without having to perform messing from plc-plc.

(Site 1) (Site 2)
[Pv-Eth-Backplane-DH+]---DH+---[DH+-Backplane-Eth-Pv]

Hope i have explained myself clearly.

I believe there is a DH+ adder module for the PanelView Plus. Once you plug it into the DH+ network, I'm guessing you can just set up a second target device via links enterprise. So, the second PV+#2 is talking to PLC#2 via ethernet and PLC#1 via DH+.
However, wouldn't have been easier to connect the two sites via ethernet so both sets of PLCs & HMI's would be on the same network?

Thanks for the reply, i am not sure if this will work via the limited routing available on the RsEnterprise.

I have found out that the Panelview Plus does not have the ability to comm through the contrologix backplane on Dh+.
I find this quite limiting due to wide installation of DH+ through the years.

The Dh+ network is existing and the customer does not want the extra cost of installing fibre on site. (Typical)

Will just have to CIP Message between Processors.

Thanks For Your Thoughts.
