I would like to purge Photoworks scene material from files but can't find out how to do this. There is a wood material for floors that I used for scenes on previous projects. Even though I changed scenes completely, whenever I open some files up, I get the following error message:

Some of these files are checked out of PDMWorks. All physical changes are kept if I check it back into the vault, such as changing the length or whatever, but the darned old scene material is kept somehow.

How can I get rid of the material/purge it.

I had the same a few weeks ago. I had to open each part separately and "remove material", save, close, open, add material.

This can be a real PITA. I really don't have an answer for you. It seems once you use a material or decal in PW it remains in the memory list even though it may not be currently used. This happens to us periodically and it seems if you don't browse to the file and save enoug times it eventually goes away?

Hopefully Photoworks in 2007 will have a fix for this. On the scene editor, I have even used the backgrounds > plain > plain white so that it wouldn't have any floor or wall materials, and that doesn't always work. After saving a few times, it seems like the settings stick because I'm not getting the error prompt anymore.
