Does anyone know where I can get a chart showing purge gas flow times for a given volume change? Or, what formula would I use to make my own table. Richard Schram

Recommended for you

HoursPerVolumeChange= (((id / 2)^2 * pi / 144)) * length) / flowrate)

id=id in inches
length=length in feet
flowrate=flow rate in cfh

The above is part of a visual basic function. I have an excel spreadsheet I could send to you if this is what you are looking for.

Pardon the formula but my math education stopped at the 9th grade. There is probably a better way.

pipewelder1999,

That is exactly what I was looking for. I would greatly appreciate the spreadsheet, my email address is in the post. Richard Schram
