How much foam are you pumping? What is it used for? Where do you want to pump it from and where is it going? Foam is a tricky thing to move, but there are several ways to do it depending on the above quastions.
the foam is a lite yogurt (aerated). pumping a small
flow rate (<15 GPM). can you discuss the/any potential ways
of handling this tricky material.
thks.
Probably look at a sanitary grade lobe pump. They are low shear, which is probably important to your application. Also, the food grade ones are easily disassembled for frequent cleaning, which will be required.
You have to be careful, particularly on the Suction side as you will de-aerate your product if the suction is too high pulling all the gas 1st then the liquid. I would suggest as an option to the above types of Pump, as Air Operated Diaphragm Pump
