Jan 14, 2002 #2 MJCronin Mechanical Apr 9, 2001 5,097 With regard to your need for a "molten Zinc pump" I suggest that you contact the technical rep's at Viking Pump... http://www.vikingpump.com They have experience with this type of "hot metal" pump and have supplied pumps for both lead and zinc. The pump is an internal gear, positive displacement pump without a seal ( Your pump efficiencies are going to be low) The real trick..... in the plant layout, is to keep the motor cool Good Luck MJC Upvote 0 Downvote
