Hello, Would you help me with naming of the PTC products, please?

I mean Pro/Engineer what most of the people use still. After that the name was Creo Elements/Pro. I understood that Creo Parametric will be the final product name?

PTC Product Calendar says that Creo Elements/Pro will be updated as far as July 27 2012. How is after that, is there only Creo Parametric?

I mean if I make instructions for the students for next fall, what I should use, Creo Parametric or Creo Elements/Pro?

I also visited on pages: Product name updates for Pro/ENGINEER, CoCreate and ProductView. There is no name such Creo Elements/Pro.

It was Pro/Engineer for versions 1-20, then came
Pro/Engineer 2000i and 2000i2. Then we had Pro/Engineer
Wildfire 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5. Then things get confusing.

When Creo was announced, Wildfire 5 was renamed Creo
Elements/Pro 5.0. Same software, just a new name, so
Pro/Engineer Wildfire 5 = Creo Elements/Pro 5.0.

Even though there is Creo in the name, it's not really
the new Creo that we were promised. That came last year
as Creo 1.0 (Creo 2.0 is due this month), and you can get
Creo Parametric (essentially what Pro/E was), Creo View
(what Productview was) and Creo Direct (sort of, but not
really, what CoCreate was).

So, Creo Parametric is the successor to WF5, you might
think of it as WF6, but it's really not.

Clear as mud?
