Prototyping from vector ?

Hello, I am working on coin designs which will be sent to a factory overseas for production. My files are built in Adobe Illustrator and emailed to the manufacturer as eps. I label which areas I want "3d" or "textured" and the files are also labeled for recessed or raised levels.

My manufacturer then sends me 3d renders to preview how the art will look...My question is which software are they using to interpret the vector art into 3D?

I would like to handle the renderings myself in order to avoid excessive revisions and proofs to streamline the whole process.

Any advice or insight would be greatly appreciated.
