Protective/Safety gear for thermal scanning

Hello,

I wanted to inquire if there was a requirement for specialized NFPA 70E certified or other certified protective/safety equipment, to perform thermal/infrared scanning of electrical panels or other distribution equipment for inspection purposes?

If so, then what safety gear would a qualified technician have to wear while performing thermal scanning of electrical distribution equipment?
