Proportional Integral Derivative circuit

I am trying to build a proportionl integral derivative circuit at home. If anyone has any kind of schematics or any kind of help it would be greatly appreciated.

There are lots of resources on the web that discuss PID and feedback controllers in general. This link is a pretty detailed tutorial on control theory and has several examples of control applications:

Without a specific plant to control, the PID part won't be terribly interesting.
