Proper counterweight design

Does anyone have a website or info on properly designing a counterweight for vacuum pumps and/or air compressors?

I have a funny feeling that we may be using a counterweight that is not properly designed for our application.

If first you do succeed...try something harder.

Are you refering to a counterweight on the crankshaft of a reciprocating machine ?

Have you contacted the equipment vendor ?

We have a Wobl style compressor and we are the vendor. I haven't worked on compressors much in the past so that's why I ask this question.
