Projection welding info

I need to weld 6 bushings to a plate and projection welding appears to be the most cost effective solution. My problem is I cannot find bushings that are commercially available, and I'm not exactly sure how to design the bushing for this process. Can anyone suggest a vendor or advise on the design for the bushings?

It seems to me that stud welding is a better description of the process you need.

I bet projection welding is the better technique here. RB&W makes very good projection welding fasteners and could help with design.
