I was able to go to MS Project 2002 Launch Event last week. Project 2002 looks to have some nice new features and solved some lingering problems. They have made some big strides with their enterprise management features. Hope they work as demonstrated and didn’t break anything else!!!
I particularly like the fact that the Resource Pool will now be a table, not some quasi spin-off of a project schedule as it is in Project 2000. Also, with the data in a table reporting on project status should be much easier.
Didn’t win a door prize, but well worth the time to see the new product.
Anyone else go to a launch event or implemented Project 2002 yet?
