I am designing an epanet model and this is my first time with the software. im finding difficult adding PRV and FCV without having to delete the entire pipe. This is messing me up and im urgently in need of help. Would appreciate help from any of you good guys.

Thanks for considering my request and for your time.

I did not download your model but:
A PRV or FCV is considered a 'pipe' between two nodes
the 'pipe' is considered zero length between the 2 node, just adding in the controlled pressure loss in accordance with the rule of the valve
a simple diagram below

supplynode - pipe - node - PRV - node - pipe - demandnode
