We have several different programs in use here at work - and the worst BYFAR is AutoCAD 2004, nothing but problems!
Well - one of our engineers will use nothing but 2004, and the rest of us use 2000 (when using 2D software).
Well - it should be simple enough to open the drawing in 2004 and save it as a 2000 drawing. Well, that locks up every computer we have when we try it - not just one - all of them.
Most recently I tried the Autodesk Batch DWG Converter. That "sucessfully" converted the file to 2000 format, but when you open it in anything but 2004, you get a Fatal Error notification...Error Handled...Shuts down AutoCAD.
This is the same sitution if you try to save it as a .dxf as well.
Any ideas as to how I can get these 2004 drawing open in 2000? IS THAT TOO MUCH TO ASK OF AN AUTODESK PRODUCT!??? Hehe.
Thanks in advance guys!
