PROBLEM WITH DEFORMATION 1

Hello,
I tried to model an impact on Abaqus. It was working really fine, but I needed to change the mesh size. I noticed the bullet is not moving an inch, but it shows it is deforming and even the plate also shows it is deforming whereas there is no contact between the bullet and the plate. What could be the cause and how can I resolve this?

Check all the outputs in Abaqus/Viewer. Look at the deformed shape (make sure the scale is correct), check the contact pressure and history outputs. Scroll through frames and generate animations. Maybe even restart Abaqus/Viewer. Most likely it's just a visualization issue. Unless something was actually changed in the setup - then you'll have to go through it carefully - check BCs, loads, initial conditions and so on.
