Problem opening I-DEAS 9

When I go to open I-DEAS I get the following message:


Internal security error: -97

You cannot connect to the I-DEAS FLEXlm lock server.
Please review your license file and resource locking configuration.


Anyone know how to resolve this issue?

Are you using windows xp pro?
I have the exact same problem that u have but with IDEAS 10
see this thread for help thread577-85230 still have not been able to get mine to work. If u figure it out please type what u did on this thread.

I am using XP pro.

After trying everything that I could think of I decided that it would be easier and quicker to simple uninstall then reinstall I-Deas.

Since I've reinstalled it there's been no reoccurance of the problem.
