I am probing drafted walls and sometimes they have to be adjusted in the manufacturing process. What I would like to probe is the amount, in XY plane, a wall varies from the model and regardless of the draft which can vary from 0.25-45. A typical probing operation might be to probe a 15 degree wall in a vector parallel to a principle axis; let's say in X- direction. I understand where the error is coming from but I am not sure if I am using the probing application correctly or even if it is capable of doing what I need. To summarize, I am looking for the amount of part wall deviation in XY plane, not deviation normal to the wall. Any ideas?
