THE RUMOR IS THAT THERE IS PENDING LITIGATION AGAINST SOLIDWORKS FROM PRO-E. A CUSTOMER TOLD ME THAT HAS A BUNCH OF PRO-E SEATS THAT THE ABILITY TO ALLOW SOLIDWORKS IMPORT A PARAMETRIC PRO-E FILE BASED ON WILDFIRE IS WHAT TICKED OFF PTC. I THINK WE SHOULD AT LEAST BE ABLE TO IMPORT A DUMB SOLID TILL THIS THING GETS WORKED OUT. WHAT IS FUNNY AT ONE TIME ON THE PRE-RELEASE VERSION OF SOLIDWORKS2003 THE DECRYPTOR WAS AVAILABLE. I THINK THE LACK OF COMMUNICATION BY SOLIDWORKS CORPORATE VALIDATES WHAT I HEARD BY PENDING LITIGATION.
