Prismatic machining not recognizing published goemetry

I have a generic CATProcess and CATPart with my axis systems, planes and sketches published. The profiling and slap-milling operations are all pre-defined. CATIA will recognize and replace my published elements and compute my toolpaths with no problem when I'm doing 2d pockets/ profiles. When I try the same thing with drilling operations all my elements are "recognized" but it will not compute my toolpath.
