Prevent Area Load on Some Members? 2

Is it possible to have an area load NOT load some members? For example, I have horizontal bracing in some bays co-planar with the beams and girders. I would like the area loads to distribute to beams and girders only and not to the horizontal bracing.

Take a look at the Member Type associated with that member. It's probably set to Beam or Column, right?

If you set the member type to HBrace, then it should be ignored for area load attribution. I believe that behavior was established a number of years ago. So, unless you are using a very old version of the program, then you should get the behavior I describe.
