Folks,
Are there good published documents that you have successfully used in the past to estimate reinforcing quantities in psf or plf for various concrete framing systems such as.
1. Beams and One way slabs (reinforced and PT Beams)
2. Two way post tensioned slabs
3. Two way conventionally reinforced slabs
4. Concrete columns (based on building height and tributary)
5. Concrete shear walls
6. Footings
etc.
We get into doing some preliminary work prior to getting the actual job to help owners/contractors with pricing. Obviously, since we don't have the job and we are only pursuing it, we cannot really spend the time to model everything and determine quantity estimates.
What recommendations do you have?
