prefix e in dimension value

What does prefix e stand for in front of dim 35. See attached image.

The square and the e look like they could be nonsense characters, that appear when you view a document that uses fonts that your computer doesn't have.

The square could be legit (it means "square," and can precede a number just as the diameter symbol does, if that is a length of square bar we're looking at).
But since e looks fishy, Evan might be right about both of them.

The square symbol is legit and means that feature is square shaped of equal dimension/tol for each side. The ‘e’ symbol and number is a proprietary callout by the authors company which without any supporting document is useless, it would be best to call and ask.

My guess is there are other “e numbers” associated with other dimensions on the drawing that indicate internally to the company a procedure or standard specific to those dimensions…. Eg: critical dimensions, SPC dimensions etc….

true, but not much of that drawing is clearly anything at all.... it could be a square rod.

We all might be sidetracked a bit because I notice the only question in the OP is about the "e dimension"...

I really want to see bigger part of this drawing.
Two parallel lines with centerline in-between most likely represent cylindrical body.
In this case square most likely represents goofy character, like diameter, or even hash that sometimes is used to represent wire gauge.
So, if it is 28 gauge wire, e35 may be wire or terminal designation.
Idea as crazy as the others, what you guys think?
