I am trying to create a simulation for predicting the distribution of electroplated coatings based on the following conference paper: http://www.ansys.com/staticassets/ANSYS/staticassets/resourcelibrary/confpaper/2004-Int-ANSYS-Conf-43.PDF
Basically, you use the electric field analysis capability of ANSYS to perform a steady-state current conduction analysis of the system. Then by establishing a relationship between deposit thickness to the surface current density and time the distribution of electroplated coatings can be determined.
I was wondering if it was possible to run such an analysis on ANSYS Workbench 15. Any help/guidance is greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Mitchell
