I have a precast double tee parking garage that has the bearing pads walking out due to sun camber on the top level. Has anyone had experience with this? I plan to jack the double tees and remove and replace the pads. Current pads are hard rubber with random fibers. If I replace with the same, I will eventually have the same problem. The current bearing is more triangular due to high camber. If I replace with a rigid pad (ie steel), I'm concerned with the ends cracking. Any help would be appreciated.

You may want to try unreinforced pad of relatively soft neoprene, as thick as your loading will allow and physical dimensions will allow.

I think there are products marketed specifically for this application. I can't speak to them from personal experience but you can probably at least learn about them using the old Google-fu. For what it's worth...
