Hi, guys. I have the following question, a friend of mine wants to demolish one span of a two span existing concrete slab system so he can do it again. I was wondering if I can re-use the steel bars of the demolished slab because in the demolishing process the steel bars may be affected and gain some plastic deformation? Do you any resource that about this kind of stuff?

Thanks in advance.

They can be removed if not damaged, and cleaned... but the effort to clean them may be too much... new bars will be a lot less work.

Rather than think climate change and the corona virus as science, think of it as the wrath of God. Feel any better?
