Currently we are searching for a positive displacement pump which can dispense small amounts of silicone. Currently our smallest shot weight of silicone is 0.08g ±0.001. This equipment would be used for custom part samples, as our standard parts are assembled in a fully automated machine.
We use different viscosities of silicone varying between 10,000 cst and 1,000,000 cst.
Does anyone have any thoughts or ideas as to options for this?

A little more information is required.

Is your silicone an oil, emulsion, or adhesive?

What is the physical properties of the silicone?

What are the operating parameters required of the pump?

The silicone is a fluid which is used for damping purposes. We use silicones with many different viscosities which range from 10,000 to 1,000,000 centistokes.
What I am looking for in the pump is the ability to dispense very small controlled amounts of silicone (0.08±0.001g) repeatedly. This pump will be used for custom and one-off jobs so the speed of the equipment is not important. If we could program the pump with different programs for the amount of silicone to dispense that would be ideal. That way we could switch product lines and just change programs on the pump.

Hope that helps...
