hello

is it must to use explosion proof motor with positive displacement (gear) pump

the application is fuel transfer
ul listed internal gear pump

is there any code explain thank you

You may check the Electrical Area Classification of the area where the electrical motor is to be used and verify the proper NEMA class and IP code for the motor as required to be used in that location.
