Hi
I was checking the theory manual of the constitutive behavior in a porous medium. The manual provides a general effective strain equation that would include the grain bulk moduli, but it doesn't include the pore fluid bulk moduli (nor does it mention anything about young's modulus) in the equation (eq 2.8.3-6, 2.8.3-7, 2.8.3-8). Pore fluid bulk modulus would only be included in the equation in the special case of liquid entrapment (gel). and only in a relativly brief equation 2.8.3-1. Does anybody know the general equation of porous media with respect to grain and pore fluid buld moduli?
