I'm looking for a simple 2-way poppet valve. It needs to open upon being energized by a DC power supply. It is for a compressed air application (approx. 350 psi). I think it will need some kind of manual reset to close the valve back up. It also needs to be as small as possible. Does anyone know if something like this is on the market, or is it one of those things you have to pay a company to design for you? A poppet valve may not even be what I'm looking for, I'm up for suggestions.

The application is quite common and quite a few vendors exist who may be able to solve your application. Apart from the pressure criteria of 350 psi, sizing criteria of rqd. flowrate, ambient temp., area classification, DC volts/watts available are important in the selection process. A supplier for this 2 way NO or NC solenoid poppet valve may be found on the web search site "solenoid valves".
