Has anyone ever heard of a term called polymer float? I believe that it occurs when there is too much polymer in a concrete patching material, and the excess floats to the surface. I have also heard it referred to as polymer bleed as well. What would happen to any material, i.e., a sealer, an overlay, vinyl tile, etc, placed over such an area? What precautions should I take? What can be done to prevent it from happening? Is there any technical information that explains it in detail?
