Anyone have any experience with various polycabonate coatings that might make it extremely water repellent? I was looking through some of the Makrolon data, but couldn't locate anything definitive. My main concern is that the coating/glazing needs to be clear.

Thanks for the input.

There is quite a bit of work out there on this subject, an Internet search for "hydrophobic coating" AND polycarbonate would lead you to some information.

Thanks for the advice. Demon3: yes, it is for a windscreen for go-kart, we are trying to get away from having to have wipers.

I searched online, but couldn't find anything readily available for purchase. Do either of you know of a company that could get me pointed in the right direction? (I'm a mech, so this my knowledge of this area is very limited at the moment)

Thanks

Rain-X is intended for glass but I think it would work fine for your go-cart
