Polyacrylamide Flocculant determination

I am looking for some information/analytical methods to determine the concentration of dissolved/emulsified Polyacrylamide in my effluent stream after complete flocculation. Also, can anyone lend information as to degradation products of this polymer, if said polymer were to degrade? If used upstream of membrane filters, should I expect to foul my filters quickly? Any info is appreciated. Thx!!!
