Based on conversations with the members here, I've got a follow up project to my alternate limit density method in mind.
The project involves having several independent labs test the limit density of sands using my method. At this time, I’d like to observe 1) how the limit densities of the labs obtained compare to one another, and 2) the cov between the different sands for each specimen using this method.
Based on some preliminary estimates, I think that about 4 hours of time will be involved in the work. A good, calibrated scale capable of measurements to 0.01g will be necessary. All other necessary items will be supplied, including sand specimens to use. I’d like to try to have about 5 different individuals, if possible.
As an initial poll, would anyone out there be interested in participating in this study?
Thanks!
