I have problems with using point spring. I am modelling a base-isolated building in ETABS so at first, I have defined link properties for rubber isolator then I assigned it to +Z and -Z directions in the Point Spring Property Data form. My problem is when I run the anaylsis, joint is translating both of the horizontal direction and it seems like unrestrained. Is it normal or am I doing something wrong?
