Hi guys,

I have recently started to write my MSc. thesis. A part
of it is modelling general shapes of 3 insects and a
snale. I am using a microscope in a lab, which is able to
take x,y,z coordinates of a lot of points on the animal
surface. Which is the best and fastest option to insert
those point cloud to SW? Is it possible to insert
coordinates of points which I have written to a
Microsoft word file? We are talking of something like
100 up to 250 different points per organism.

And I have another question! For some reason I cannot
create boundary surface of the snale shell I am working
on, in a way that will pass through all of the points
measured. I am getting all of the time the 'interfering
geometry' error. And the final thing is that I have
measured only half of the shell, and I was planning to
mirror it , but unfortunately I am not able to... which
is really strange.

I would be glad if you could give me some insights of my
problems. Thanks a lot in advance. I am really stuck now,
for a day and a half already.

p.s. I have attached my model file, if someone wants to
take a look. <a target="_blank" href="uploads/Svet/2012-03-
