Dear all,

I'm a gage designer with moderate experience. I was tasked to develop a gauge which needs to measure the 147mm from common axis of Datum A & B. The challenge to me was, the datum B is concentric 0.05mm with respect to datum A.

Since the diameters have very tight tolerance and this is a aluminum part, i must avoid damaging of the IDs.

Please help me to design this gauge. Thanks in advance.

pradeep kumar,

I see from your profile, you are new to Eng-Tips. Welcome.
You may have the wrong impression of Eng-Tips, this is a forum where engineers share experience, problems and solutions.
What you have asked for in your post was for someone to provide a design solution to your problem.
You will probably get a better response to your posting, if you first come up with a design solution, and provide what your requirements, limitations challenges are. Ask for advise on the feasibility of your design.
