please help cutting out part of the model

hi everyone!
I am a rookie and I want to learn solidworks to start my solidworks class soon. I am doing some exercises and I have a problem on how to cut part of the model to make a door. I have a model I made, nothing hard just a box and shell the bottom. What I want to do is cut the door where I have the lines on the model and separate where the lines are to make that section as a separate part to be the door. Can someone here show me how to cut it?
