Hi all,
I am attempting to run a simple sphere impacting plate explicit experiment with element deletion. I can run the experiment fine without errors, and the history output for the impactor velocity seems to be about what I expect. However, when I attempt to visualize the animation, the spherical impactor hardly moves (certainly much slower than I expect it to), and never comes in contact with the plate, clear signs within the plate that it does. Does anyone know what the problem might be? I've tried playing with the element size, step size, and field history output and that doesn't seem to work. I've attached the .AVI for the visualization.
