Hello,
I am trying to model a creep test, I use elasto-plastic material behavior plus power law (Norton Law) for creep, but unfortunately even if the part deforms plastically there is no creep strain at the end o f the simulation.
In abaqus documentation it says “If creep and plasticity occur simultaneously and IMPLICIT creep integration is in effect, both behaviors may interact and a coupled system of constitutive equations needs to be solved.” In the step properties I choose visco and Creep/swelling/viscoelastic integration: Explicit/implicit.
The reason behind why I can’t have Norton working simultaneously with plasticity is that my simulation is integrating explicitly?
Any ideas appreciated,
