Sir;
I am doing a 2D crack analysis. For this analysis I am using Ramberg Ossgood material model and the specimen is subjected to bi-axial loading condition.

My concern is how to calculate the plastic limit load by ABAQUS. The plastic load has to be calculated by considering hardening effect of the material.

I am attaching tthe figure for reference and understanding.

I am waiting for your reply..

This is interesting, but nothing one does every day I suppose, at least me.

A good start is perhaps to plot a typical load vs deflection curve (XY-PLOT). This link shows how this curve can be obtained using the GUI (Link).

Now unless this curve goes flat, which is then quite easy to extract the limit load (load at which curve goes horizontal), there seems to be some other criteria or ways to obtain the plastic limit load.
This paper explains this much better: Link

Hope this is of help.
